Grizzly Bears
The Oakland Zoo was able to rescue to sets of Brown Bears. One pair of boys appears to be Coastal Brown Bears, and the other two boys have the hump that Grizzlies are known for. As you will see, one pair is much lighter in color than the other. It is extremely difficult to get sharp photos through the thick glass, but over time I hope to get more shots through the fence on overcast days. These bears are on exhibit at the Oakland Zoo on the California Trail. They have a huge multi-section exhibit and can often be seen in the pool, or from the Habitarium.
